Tires: Mounting, Balancing, Flat Tire Repair, Wheel Alignment, Tire Rotation

In addition to being New England’s first mobile car repair service,  The Driveway Doctors also provide expert tire sales and tire repair service.

Our tires and balancing service include:

1.  Tire Mounting -

When it is time to swap out old tires, the new tires should be mounted safely. This tire service includes the old-tire removal, mounting and sealing new tires, inflating and balancing of each new tire.

2.  Wheel Balancing -

Even the smallest difference in balance can create vibration.  Multiply this by 4 or more wheels and it adds up. This wheel service includes tire and wheel removal, tire inspection, mounting, sealing, inflating and balancing each new tire, and replacement of the wheels with the new tires on them.

3.  Tire Repair -

Tire repair, mount and balance in just minutes.  This service includes removal of the tire from the rim, inspecting it inside and out, liner repair to make sure the tire is airtight , puncture fill, tire remount and balancing.  The spare tire is also checked to make sure - next time.

4.  Wheel Alignment -

This service includes steering and suspension system,  visual inspection, tire pressure check and aligning angle adjustments.

5.  Tire Pressure Check -

Tire pressure is critical as the wrong pressure can lead to tire failure and accidents. This service includes checking the pressure in all tires and adjusting the pressure when necessary.

6.  Tire Rotation -

Tires tend to wear unevenly.  Front tires tend to wear most on their outside edges, but all tires wear unevenly due to even the slightest imbalance or misalignment. To get the most life from the tires, it’s a good idea to rotate the tires (to move from wheel to wheel) every 6 months.   Having the tires rotated twice a year helps them wear longer and more evenly.  If you have front wheel drive, rotation is even more important.  This service includes tire removal and inspection- looking for wear patterns, rotation and resetting any TPMS monitors as needed.

7.  Snow Tire Installation

Some customers own a second set of rims with seasonal tires.   When winter comes, they may want a set of seasonal tires.   This service includes removal of one set of tires and replacement with the other.
